My approach to photography

From booking to the big day, I've got your back. Need advice, supplier connections, or a shoulder to vent on? Don't worry, I'm here for you.

I firmly believe your wedding isn't a photoshoot. While stunning images are important, your focus should be on enjoying the day you worked so hard to organise.

During your wedding, I'll be your unwavering support system, I'll handle the timeline, capture every delightful detail, and bring calm and laughter to every moment.

I work best with creative couples who are up for an adventure, and who aren’t afraid to have fun. If you're up for ditching traditions, embracing spontaneity, and willing to get your dress muddy to capture pure photo-magic, then we're on the same wavelength!

Building a genuine bond with my couples is key to capturing authentic, beautiful moments. My goal is to create a comfortable
space where you can let go of inhibitions, embrace intimacy, and be your true selves. It's in those genuine moments that I'll capture your beautiful connection before it slips away.

Are we a good fit

Your photography experience should be as outstanding as your photos.

?

From wedding prep til you're getting down on the dance floor, we'll capture it all. Expect lots of candid moments throughout the day, the details, fun shots with the bridal party, those classic family portraits destined for grandma's mantelpiece, and beautiful portraits of you as newlyweds

90% of my images are naturally captured with 10% group shots and slightly directed shots. The amount of time we spend on couples' portraits is tailored to you, typically we do two short 10-15 minute sessions at naturally quiet moments during your wedding timeline.

 What to expect

I'll groove on the dance floor, gladly accept a drink, contort into awkward positions for that perfect shot, and make friends with all your wedding party. From playing games with the kids to discussing the advantages of digital photography with uncle Nigel, I’ll also tell anybody who listens my life story. And don't be surprised if I bring out my sewing kit to stitch a bridesmaid into her dress.

Blending seamlessly as a guest, I'll naturally capture every moment of your incredible day.

be warned, I'm not the kind of photographer that hides in the shadows.

How do we book you?

Yes please, I would super appreciate it if you do. It’s a long day for us photographers, longer if you add a few hours driving. A hot meal gives me more energy to shoot the rest of the day + stay longer, if you need.

Do we need to feed you on the day?

I may prefer the more natural shots but I also make time for the 'must have' group shots for grandmas mantelpiece! Before your big day, I’ll ask you to compose a small list of group shots, then voila… we will get the job done nice and quick so you can all get back to having drinks, canapés and fun.

From the morning getting ready moments until well into the evening when everyone's partying hard on the dance floor. Each wedding is different but usually anything between 8-12 hours.

How long is the all day package?

Yes! I offer handmade, top-notch albums from Folio, featuring stunning picture quality on 30 lay-flat spreads. These 12"x12" albums come in various cover options like leather, cotton, vegan-friendly material, or silk. Simply pick your preferred wedding gallery images, and I'll personally craft a cherished album.

Do you offer albums?

In short, no. It's quite standard in the industry but I'll explain briefly so you see I'm not just being awkward! Raw’s are unfinished, very large files that not only hard to transfer but you need specialised software to view them. Importantly, a fair majority of them are outtakes and do not represent the final product. A lot of love and care goes into my editing process to finish them.

Should we add a 2nd shooter?

If you’re having over 120 guests, I really advise it. It gives us a better chance to capture a larger number of guests on the day. They're also great if you and your partner are getting ready in separate location and can cover extra angles.

what happens if you're sick?

Since Covid I've been part of an SOS group, if I fall sick or can't make it to your wedding for any reason I have a group of people I can call upon to step in to shoot.

We're super shy and look terrible in photos, can you help?

I get this from most of my couples and they are the ones you see in my photos. I'm really good at capturing both charismatic extroverts and shy introverts. With my experience working with diverse couples, I create a relaxed atmosphere where you can be yourselves. By the end of the day, you'll have a gallery you'll absolutely love.
